Moving abroad for studies can be both exciting and overwhelming. This workshop supports international students in understanding and managing cultural shock while adapting to life in Prague. Participants will learn about common phases of cultural adjustment, strategies to reduce stress, and practical techniques for self-care and mental well-being. The session offers a safe space to share experiences and develop tools for building resilience, balance, and a positive study abroad experience. This workshop is lead by Mgr. Anna-Marie Pospíšilová a psychologist, crisis interventionist and lecturer with a focus on working with young adults who are going through challenging life situations. More information about the lecturer can be found here: https://annamarieterapie.com/#english.
The workshop is part of the project "Improving the quality and effectiveness of the educational process and strategic management at CZU in Prague," co-financed by the EU.
