The exam period often brings lack of sleep and strain on the body. This workshop, led by University Counselling Centre psychologists Anna Pejšková and Julie Hoebenová, will offer practical strategies to protect your sleep and support concentration and memory. We will cover what happens in the brain during sleep, why it is essential, and how sleep deprivation affects health in the short and long term.
Participants will learn concrete tips to improve sleep hygiene: keeping a regular sleep schedule, reducing light and caffeine before bed, choosing foods or supplements that support rest, and avoiding habits that lower sleep quality.
