International logistics is the process of transporting goods/products across the globe. This is usually conducted via shipping but freight trucks are also used. Challenges are the most efficient use of space/weight/capacity. This is a fast and dynamic area of the business and can be affected by geopolitical events.

Trade investment is a sub-team within the finance department within the Prague office. Luca manages one of these teams which covers the markets for Belgium, Netherlands, France and the UK. The team is responsible for pricing and discounts. This is in relation to ensuring invoices are correctly priced according to information provided by the sales department and that discounts are correct in order to have proper accrual.

The FTL programme is a graduate scheme offered at AB InBev whereby graduates conduct two operational rotations in the hopes of being promoted to lead and manage a team after 12 months. It begins once per year in August and applications are currently open.

SMT (Supply Management Traineeship, not in Czech Republic but available in other European countries. This is for graduates with a particular interest in working in supply and often begins with rotations within breweries)
GMT (General Management Traineeship, the most general graduate scheme of ABI. Not available in Czech Republic but in many European countries. Rotational scheme covering a wide range of areas including commercial, operational and supply. During each rotation graduates work on a different project, often with an international scope/emphasis.)
CMT (Commercial Management Traineeship, a scheme with a focus on sales. Again, not in the Czech Republic but in other European countries.)
